My name is Amanda Shoemaker, and I am a children’s photographer based in San Francisco, California. I create fresh, modern portraits for all the super-hip families of the Bay Area and beyond.
Working on-location, I photograph my little clients in familiar surroundings so they are comfy & happy. My portrait sessions are much like play-dates — lots of giggling is usually involved! The resulting portraits are relaxed & unposed, and your child’s personality shines through.

About the Artist
Amanda Lane Shoemaker grew up in the Lake Hartwell area of northeast Georgia. She uses the phrase “grew up” loosely since most days she feels like a big kid.
Amanda holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland University College. She and her husband, Eric, reside in the Glen Park neighborhood of San Francisco.
